Sofia Based Rides- 3 DAYS

Arrival at Sofia airport and transfer to a hotel in the city center or close to Vitosha mountain. Bike set up. Trip briefing. Option for a short acclimatization ride in Vitosha mountain.

Today we will drive south of Sofia and explore one of the most ridden area in the country – Blago Enduro trails. There are 5 different trails and a pump track all reachable by van and it is a perfect warm up. We will ride all 5 trails, have rest and repeat some of your favourite ones. After the ride we will hang out with the locals who maintain the trails hava a beer and chat and drive back to Sofia.

Today we can go epic and climb the highest peak of the mountain reaching up to 2290m – The Black peak. What is next is one of the longest and fun ride in Bulgaria – 15 km run combining different trails with elevation drop of 1400m. We can do few more runs on some cool trails with man built elements and flowy sections and then go to the city center for a deserved traditional dinner and party.

Last day of riding can be either in Bororvets bike park (15 June-15 Sept) or Vratsa area. Borevets bike park is lift supported and there are 6 different trails with lots of fun elements and one black DH track. Vratsa area boost some of the most technical and scenic trails in Bulgaria. The trails have lots of rocky sections, loose rock lines and flowy parts in lower forested areas. The views are mind blowing and riding with the locals is always great fun.
